Reality of today’s student life

One day I was reading a book Named “Corporate Chanakya” suddenly I got an idea to one small survey. I picked up a phone and call my 25 friends who are working in a different area and asked them a couple of questions

1.) what is your current designation?

2.) What are your weakness?

3.) What is your current earning?

4.) What is your next goal?

5.) What is your vision?

Out of 25, 23 people did not know what is their next goal, what is their Vision, what in the next that they would like to achieve. Then immediately, I started to speak with the students who are studying in BBA,, BA, BE, MBA, and PGDM final year, In 10 days I spoke to around 800 students from different – different institutions. After speaking with them, I was shocked and also worried. Why? 750+ students were not cleared about their next step, and career.

After the completion of my research, I felt I should do something from my end as much as possible, so I can help people to goal setting.

So I started giving a gust lecture, motivational seminar, and career counseling. Today after 4.5 months, I have helped around 600 people in goal setting.

Nowadays students have become more addicted to social Media, When I go to any college, the HOD/principal says me, most of the students don’t concentrate in the class, they always see on mobile. Same way many parents come to me and says that their kids are not studying, they are addicted to mobile. I feel mobile /social medial is equivalent to liqueur and drugs. ASAP We need to take out our kids form it.
